Hadiyyah Harrison received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in 2018 from Hot Yoga Revolution with specialized training in power vinyasa yoga. She had been practicing yoga for five years prior to receiving her certification. Hadiyyah is currently a Case Manager for United HealthGroup Corporate and has been in the medical field for more than 15 years. Her passion for yoga stems from suffering a traumatic miscarriage that led her to depression and anxiety for several months afterwards. Because she has been practicing holistic healing and wellness for over ten years, Hadiyyah refused medication recommended to her by several of her healthcare providers. She knew that there had to be a better way so she began searching for alternative ways to overcome her dis-ease. She attended her first yoga class shortly after her search and fell in love with this practice! By connecting with her inner self through yoga, mindfulness, and meditation, Hadiyyah was able to overcome such a difficult time in her life. For Hadiyyah, yoga is healing, yoga is life, and yoga is Love! The challenge was often going into a yoga studio and not seeing people who look like her so opening up a yoga studio became her mission. From her vision, dedication, and tenacity Lotus Soul Yoga was birthed! Lotus Soul was created to foster an all inclusive non-judgmental environment where people are free to be themselves..everyBODY! Lotus Soul is a constant reminder that out of the mud of fears, struggles, pain, and confusion, a peaceful beauty can and will emerge!!
